1. What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is recognized by the world health organization (WHO) as the oldest Comprehensive health care system. Ayurveda is from India more than 5000 years ago not something special but rooted as part of everyday life. Ayurveda is translated as the “Science of Life” Ayus= Life, and Veda= knowledge/science. Your body and mental is very or slightly different everyday effected by food intake, work, school, sleep or even weather. Ayurveda helps you guiding your happy yand healthy life by diet, medicinal herbs, sleeping style with science.

According to Ayurveda, Universe is composed of five elements which is ether, air, fire, water and earth. By knowing how each elements work, you will understand doshas more.

3. Three Doshas (Type)

With five elements combination, we can describe three doshas of “Vata”,”Pitta” and “Kapha”. We all have all doshas in different allotment, some people have more one dosha than others or you might have all doshas equally.

4. Prakriti and Vikriti

Prakriti is the dosahs you are born with and Vikriti is the doshas changes based on lifestyle, age, food, sleep etc…

5.When your dosha is unbalanced

The energy that runs through your body can get unbalanced due to various factors. As a result, the energy accumulates and causes various symptoms.

Cold, dry skin and hair, constipation, stiff shoulders, low back pain, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, restlessness, mood changes, etc.

When Kapha energy gets unbalanced people tend to have…

Coldness, obesity, swelling, dull skin, nasal to bronchial symptoms (such as runny nose, stuffy nose, cough, dripping), dullness, drowsiness, dull thoughts, etc.
